Reduction of the Cycle Time to Replenishment (CT2R)

A key supplier to a high visibility program of this multinational company required a detailed analysis on its supply chain processes, and assistance in improving the delivery times and streamlining of the operation, including inventory reduction.

Xmultiple utilizing lean-Six Sigma concepts, the DMAIC methodology (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control to eliminate bottlenecks in the process and to improve the information flow throughout the supply chain.

CT2R was reduced Xmultiple's delivery to 45 days on average and in addition Xmultiple has deployed, designed and implemented this plan for hardware components and connectors in our product lines. A detailed 30-60-90 day implementation plan was designed and a control plan was implemented, that helped Xmultiple realize the proposed improvements. We now are doing subsequent tracking of results in the coming months for this CT2R plan.
