End of Life Vehicle Directive (ELV) is a the European Union (EU) Directive 2000/53/EC which restricts the use of lead, mercury, and cadmium in products used in the EU automotive industry as of 1 July 2003. ELV Directive

Restriction on the use of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) is the European Union (EU) Directive 2002/95/EC which restricts the use of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBB, and PBDE in certain electrical and electronic products sold into the EU as of 1 July 2006. RoHS Directive
